Forthcoming MRFF Bids

The MRFF opens calls sporadically for projects in different areas of focus. We have news on the following area upcoming:

Anticipated MRFF Calls: Frontiers Technology Research

The MRFF Frontier Health and Medical Research program will provide over $240 million to researchers and their collaborators over five years to support innovative ’out-of-the-box’ ideas and discoveries. It aims to unlock groundbreaking research which provides new treatments and technologies to improve health and open new markets for industry growth.

We anticipate the call for this scheme will be opened by NHMRC/MRFF in the next few months. In anticipation of this, the MACH Research Platforms Committee and UoM RIC office (Dr Heather St John) have called for EOIs  from partners to provide strategic advice, allocate resources for advanced bid development, link applicants with similar programs, or suggest alternative schemes as appropriate. The internal MACH EOI process has now closed in advance of the Research Platforms Committee meeting on July 16.

Researchers who have submitted an EOI should have received an acknowledgement from Nick Walsh (MACH office). Applicants will receive feedback from Dr St John or the MACH office after this date.

More information about the MRFF, including current and forthcoming bids, can be found here.
