Update on MRFF Funding and the MACH

During his budget speech, the Treasurer announced that the Australian Government will invest $10 million to support the Advanced Health Research and Translation Centres (AHRTCs) and Centres for Innovation in Regional Health (CIRH). The four existing AHRTCs will receive $8 million of this disbursement to support projects that focus on improving clinical pathways; reducing unwarranted variation in clinical care; better management of chronic conditions; end of life care; and vulnerable communities.

MACH is an NHMRC recognised Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre.

The mission of MACH is to improve health and wellbeing by integrating medical research, education and clinical care.
