Education and Workforce
Planning Committee
The MACH Education and Workforce Planning Committee is dedicated to providing educational programs for increasing capacity and professional development across its network's staff and consumers, in the form of training for clinical supervisors, mandatory competency training and efficiency evaluations, and simulations. It was formed to initiate a clinical education infrastructure that reflects the collaborative identity of the MACH network. It identifies possibilities for collaboration, joint development of education and workforce development initiatives and evaluation and research of education throughout the network. Other responsibilities include:

Identifying education priorities that should be addressed collectively across the MACH

Identifying opportunities for academic leadership on education within the MACH

Developing a strategic framework for education and workforce planning across the MACH

Developing a mutual acceptance system for mandatory education and training across the MACH network

Identifying opportunities for interprofessional education and practice across the MACH network
-
Identifying and enacting educational research priorities to ensure consistent and effective education
