The role of the Strategic Translational Research and Platforms (STRaP) Committee is to identify strategic opportunities to develop translational research through shared strategic direction and collaboration across MACH and industry partners.
The Committee is underpinned by Translational Platforms to develop Tomorrow’s Healthcare as articulated in the MACH Strategy 2020 to 2025 which include:

Responsibilities of STRaP

Identifying strategic opportunities to develop translational research across MACH

Overseeing the designation, development and operation of MACH Translational Platforms

Providing advice and strategic direction (as required) to the MACH Board

Co-ordinating advocacy for and in response to major funding opportunities across MACH and precinct partners

Identifying potential partners for industry engagement
